How many emails your kid sent in a day?

Innovation and adoption in IT is moving at a very fast pace that it is sometimes difficult to imagine that the tool we are so accustomed of using everyday might be coming to an end of its life. Yes I am talking about Email, the tool on which we devote currently 50-70% of time we are awake. I hope this must have not come as a surprise to you. Whenever I have made this bold statement in front of others the immediate reaction is of denial and lot of reasons are given on why this is not possible. This denial phase is not going to change the destiny. I simply ask one question to everyone I have mentioned.  The question is: “ How many emails your kid send in a day?” Every person took a pause, after a brief thought to the presented scenario responded with accepting the unbelievable. The gen Z do not use email as tool for communication they prefer social media platforms. A similar shift we saw in my one of the large organisation where Google+ was adopted. The Australian retail group
